Witnessed power
On the mountain.
Peter,
James, and John
Saw Jesus changed.
The Chosen,
The law, and the prophet
Shone with glory.
Together
They spoke of His
Departure from the earth.
God,
Shielded by a cloud,
Revealed who Jesus was and is.
He
Was left alone
To carry out His Father’s plan.
