Luke 13: 18-21

What to compare with the Kingdom of God?

A mustard seed.  Some yeast.

The miniscule seed grows into a tree

Loaves are yielded from the least.

The kingdom began with eleven men

Who followed the Three in One

They were multiplied on the Day of Pentecost:

The church, the bride of God’s Son.

Not only for Jews, but for Gentiles

The Kingdom is for all who repent

And confess the name of Jesus

Whom to us the Father lent.

He became flesh and dwelled in our midst

He experienced all that we do

And made the ultimate sacrifice

Suffered, bled, and died — for you.

Do you want to be part of the Kingdom?

Read His Word, embody the part

Of the mustard seed and the yeast

Who were there at the church’s start.
