For by grace you have been saved through faith.  And it is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.  Ephesians 2:8

“…My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”  Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.  2 Corinthians 12: 8-9

Last time I shared how the rhythm of a heartbeat, first Adam’s, then Jesus’s, carried through a song about the church. The same artist has an equally far-reaching analogy: water, for the “never-ending, unrelenting” grace of Christ.

He chooses “drops of water all around, a fountain for my soul, a mighty waterfall” to exude the concept of grace, which is both incredible and indescribable.  But to my human ears, it comes close.  And I had to get a guitar like this one to pretend I could sing it, too.
